Thanks for this! One thing I have been doing with the Papyr is for large PDFs, I just use the portal and upload on my computer to make the qlw file. Since it doesn't convert it locally in this case, it seems to go quicker. As far as I can tell you get the same result.

Hey, i dont know if you still read the comments, but i have some questions.
Does the ink appear under the tip when holding the stylus at an angle? I am talking about an angle of around 45 degrees.
Some people said that this was an issue, but none of them kept the device to tell if it has been fixed.
Also, how is the grip on the stylus? I plan to write a lot on it (Ill use it for studying).
The last question is about drawing straight lines. Is there a software option for that, or do i need to use a ruler?

I was aiming at the Supernote 5x but now you have put up this update the Papyr has come back into the game, the latency was a big issue. Supernote 5x or Papyr? I link to Google Drive so the Papyr is great for that and I like the pen on the side where as on the Supernote it dangles on the folio. Hi Voja.
in the past three weeks i watched all You guides, reviews and gather all the information on eink devices. At this point i would need one more help from You if feasible. I would like to use my device for three purposes and as a support to my laptop: general reading, notetaking, scientific reading (annotate PDF mainly). About the reading experience is important for me to preserve my eyes since i am at the laptot all the day and as such no front light (is it correct to interpret front light as negative for sights?although clearly better if compared to back light?) device is what i am targeting. in terms of note taking a good latency, not replacing the nibs very often (or just never ending nibs as best), nice writing exeprience and notes management are the overall most important features i am looking at. Finally in terms of scintific reading (academic paper or technical books) I need a combo of reading experience plus annotation features. As such i get shrink my attention to Supernote A5X and with this new update to the Papyr (the possibility of just adding a blank ppage to the pdf or having the infinite canvas would be great to have on the Supernote and my choice than would be much easier). To conclude, My dream device should have: never ending pen, remarkable 2/payr latency, supernote note taking management, a mix of supernote and papyr pdf reading annotation experience. Thus any advise for a very addicted and uncertain guy from the old world?! thank You Voja at least for reading this long comment :)

really need handwriting to text, i suppose if they link to google drive i can also just handle that afterwards also. otherwise it's an amazing device. they sound like an excellent company too, at least communication-wise.

I saw quaderno once and transferring using their app in same wifi is very very very fast even with 2 GB pdf textbook.
I am not sure about the device of quaderno in details but I saw excellent options and practical features.... But it is very fast in transferring files
