Brendan 'Trekky' Johnson is racing Unbound Gravel on a Giant prototype that is almost certainly the next iteration of the Revolt gravel race bike from manufacturing giant.

I was allowed to take a look, but Giant declined to answer any questions. So... take a look!

The Liv devote is already like this. They just had a few too many left over older frames so just delayed the launch of this bike by a year.

That flat shelf behind the BB is going to collect lots of 'stuff' both when wet and dry.

Love the full internal cabling. Love the downtube storage. Don't love that they kept the same seatpost integration. That was a huge problem for a lot of people on the outgoing model.

The Liv Devote has already been updated with these features, so the Revolt shouldn't be far off.

Would the flip chip have to be eliminated to incorporate a UDH hanger?

Good to see that manufacturers are choosing the semi-integrated route for their gravel bikes. Fully integrated looks great but many gravel riders will want the option of a suspension stem. It's for this exact reason I didn't order a Ridley frameset and went with Fara instead.

One thing I don’t like about giant is the OD2 fork and D shaped fork for internal routing. Doesn’t aid long term compatibility or using your own stem for fit purposes.
Giant stems usually come with -10 degrees which I find too much. OD2 is still better than D shape and Hopefully this revolt has a round fork 🤞🏾
A ready to paint Frameset option will also be 👌🏽

I wish they would fix the seatpost but, love to see you can fit something bigger than a 43 up front now. Seeing a 48 is a HUGE jump.

Can an internal cable routed bike be broken down and put into an Evoke bike bag without disconnecting cables? I travel With my bike on flights to SE Asia eveery year and want to get a gravel bike this year bit dont know if I need to stick with an external routed rig.. please give me an informed answer.. thanx in advance!
