Maryland - 50 States - US Geography

Maryland is often called "America in Miniature" because it has a little bit of everything - from mountains and forests to beaches and sand dunes. Maryland, nicknamed "The Old Line State," joined the Union on April 28th, 1788, as our 7th state.

My great great grandmother came thru Ellis island in late 1700's and her name was recorded in first in Maryland Eastern shore love my hometown

My family lived there my great grandmother being born in 1630 in dochester county, there was people living there before then. It's just like territory people lived there but it wasn't named.
