Even if you didn’t use a pulse engine, it’s truly amazing.

My Irish grandfather worked in London from 1938 to 52 before returning home to Ireland. He was in the Home Guard and worked as a stamper on the Wellington Bomber in Weybridge. He met my Irish grandmother in London and were married there in 1940. They remember the blitz and air raids and running for the shelters. My grandfather told me the story off going home from work one day he heard the drone of a doodlebug. He threw himself and the bike on the ground and the whole street blew out in front of him. He done this because he heard the drone cut out so wasn't his first time. My mother and Aunt both born there.
I wish they were alive today so I could ask them more questions but when you're young you don't ask the questions. Both gone now and the history and stories gone with them.

Totally botched the landing tho. They are supposed to spiral down and make a crater.

Don't show this to any older folks from London.

Amazing bit of work there. Think this is the first time a V1 ever landed horizontally, (and intact!).

what's the point?

Can you turn that noise off, is that coming from the V1 it serves or is it wind on the mic, 🇳🇿😎👍KIWI PIP🇳🇿😎👍

Did they increase the wingspan a bit or am I just looking at it with wrong eyes? Incredible feat of engineering.

I would have stuck with the pulse engine for this one.. Imagine how much cooler it would have sounded.. They say you could hear V1s from 30k away.. When you stopped hearing it, was when it was driving to the target. Such a beautiful rocket.

Brilliant, and terrifying to look at. I've got archived audio of a V-1 hitting London in 1944....easily among the creepiest things I've ever heard.

Different engine than the original pulse jet; good flying characteristics.

Vor allem die Landung hier war ein Meisterstück. Ein Schmidt-Argus-Rohr lässt sich nur schwierig regulieren.

Oh man so nice ! Get a pulse jet, or make one! You can make them really REALLY cheap!

That looked and flew great, it would of sounded like the real one if you had a read pulse jet on it instead of the EDF's, i guess you can't have it all.

Great work = thumbs up.
