If you don’t like the road you are on, it’s your own asphalt.

I remember in the early 70s when crushed glass was added to the aggregate. The road would sparkle in the sunlight.

I remember back in time when the roads in the 70s were so hard and durable. The new roads while very efficient are not made to last, because years later they come back and remove it just to pave another new road

I know in the past there were some states adopting the idea of using recycled car and truck, tires, in asphalt. Which made the ride softer and the road would last years longer.

Fun fact concrete is better for high volume traffic. This is why freeways in cities are concrete. Unfortunately it costs 3 times more than asphalt

We tried recycled plastic in pavement, there was adhesion problems. It came apart. They also require different temperatures.

Recently Germany developed an airport road using cashew nut shell derived asphalt . Asphalt roofing shingles have also been recycled to make roads. Hope you will delve into asphalt shingles roofing production.

I want the asphalt vehicle that removes the old surface, heats it, then puts the recycled back on the street. In one chain, at once.

We should grind-up our household waste and incorporate it. Win-win.

Not in favor of plastics in road building, we're seeing negative affects of plastic bottles.
