I checked my 86 Swoop. He has the same issue. Seem the be a hinge tolerance issue, since the right side locks in as it should. You can feel and see the difference, it is tight.

Love your rundown, especially of S86 OP. It’s funny how tastes are different, though. I really like the flat chest vs the angled to the centre look we often see. In G1 he was drawn both ways, but I find the flat chest gives OP a more powerful look. I’m also a sucker for the light blue windows. It really does give it that G1 animation look.

But again, it’s all subjective. Everyone has their personal tastes and expectations. For me, this is the OP I’ve been waiting for. In fact, it will be the first, and likely only, OP I will own. I can’t wait! 🙂

Watched your stream last night and got my Swoop today. Has same issue with left side as yours. Looks like the peg for holding the chest together in Dino mode is too long for the robot mode. Looking at robot mode from the front has a noticeable gap on the left. The feet on mine were also super loose. Tightening them fixed one, but not the other. Also 3 of the chrome pegs for the wings are rusted. Don't recall seeing that before. But he looks and poses great. Glad to have him to complete the set but may try to exchange him if others aren't seeing the same issues.

I think people bring up SS Hotrod because they know it seems to annoy you.

I don't think I will get the SS Optimus. I like how ER scales sorta with Motormaster, and I went in pretty heavy with the ER recolors. The butt flap on ER isn't as bad as the backpack, but I may get an interesting recolor is one comes out.

Hey Dennis when you get the clock and someone loans you ss 110 bumblebee shockwave with beast hunters shockwave you think the price was right as a voyager? Bc if that shockwave was sold today hasbro would call it a leader and would you discuss about it next week?
