Can anyone help me? I play a 1936 vintage alto and therefore it doesn't have an actual 'high F sharp key' . A piece I am working on (Carnival by Philip Sparke) requires me to go from high E to F and F sharp, meaning I can't use the 'front' 'F' as the passage is too fast. Is it possible to play a high F sharp using the side keys and some other key to raise it to the F sharp?
