Best Practices in IEP Writing Series Session 1: IEP Timelines and Creating the CCC Team

This five-part virtual series is intended to advise attendees in the best practices in writing an IEP. Each ninety-minute installment will dive into the content of the day for the first hour and designate the remaining time to review questions and scenarios from the attendees. We encourage attendees to have access to their current IEPs for these stand-alone sessions. The following topics will be covered:

SESSION 1: IEP Timelines and Creating the CCC Team
SESSION 2: Existing Data (PLAAFP) and Conference Notes
SESSION 3: Eligibility, Special Considerations, and Behavior Concerns
SESSION 4: Transition and Goals
SESSION 5: Provisions, Least Restrictive Environment (Continuum of Services) and Placement
