John Lennon's killer denied parole for 12th time

Parole is denied again for the man who killed music legend John Lennon.

Wow and his reason for killing Lennon was he wanted Fame. He got it and he is now the most famous guy in prison

I like to try predict when he’ll be paroled. It’s totally speculative but interesting to think about. They won’t let him out while he’s still relatively young so he’ll be denied until at least the 20th parole. That’s 2038 when he’s 83 but I think that’s still a bit soon and they won’t do it before any of the Beatles 100th anniversary of birth. So I make a prediction in 2044 at the age of 89, if he makes it that far, 64 years after being put in prison, on his 23rd parole hearing he’ll be released.
Totally just an exercise though… he’ll probably never be released.

i don't understand the American concept of "Parole". A guy, who behaves in perfect fashion, while in jail is up for parole and yet gets denied every time. Why even offer him parole then in the first case, and give him false hope ? I know we are all still upset about John, but justice should be fair and blind.
