Each politician should take one homeless person home. I'm sure they have enough room in their large homes.

So, cops can’t tell the difference between a black guy and a white guy in a black hoodie? Got it.

With the rising prices of rent how in the world can homeless people obtain stable housing ?? Many landlords aren't accepting any vouchers! It's hard for working folks as well! We all out here struggling!

This is why the majority of homeless people sleep on the train, and don’t like going to shelters because there rules to go by and a curfew. What are you going to do now Adam?

Why doesn't anyone point the finger at their families for not caring about their families and letting them live on the street instead of burdening the taxpayers of society?

I am Brooklyn, USA, born and raised. I am playing the tiniest violin in the world for these shot bums. The other day I saw mayor Adams, saying shooting bums is a “heinous” crime but bums pushing innocent Chinese women into train tracks, being followed, and raped and stabbed to death with her own kitchen knife, victims being struck on the head with hammers and so on and so on, did not get such a passionate outcry from him? The real helpless and innocent victims are the working populace of NYC that must be afraid of getting home from work safely to their loved ones because of these bums running around like cockroaches aimlessly in a clean kitchen contaminating our lives. I guess Adam’s uselessness in managing this bum problem created a Paul Kersey type vigilante against bums (Charles Bronson’ role in the movie ‘Death Wish’) and I bet that there are a lot of my fellow New Yorkers that is applauding him. Finally. Someone is cleaning up the stench in our City, because we have another feckless mayor.

You have to make the shelters safe because they dont be safe in the shelters either. That's what makes man people turn to the stress to live.

so lets see when the homeless attack people for no reason not many people get upset in the same manner. as if the homeless gets attack. and in terms of housing new York law makers have made it such no developer wants to build housing for the poor. and when it comes to getting them help there are a good number of them that will always refuse the help. due to the fact that the person in question knows that the behavior they are uses to. like the drugging and masses drinking and going out day in and day out begging for money is not allowed. and shelters they have to be in by certain times. they don't want that so they rather be outside with no rules. in these cases they have to be forced to get help.

Permanent housing isn't the biggest issue for the homeless COMMUNITY our biggest issue is education, mental health and job training. we have dreams that have been forgotten!!! It's time a program is made to help make realistic dreams and goals a REALITY!!!

Adequate housing? Is there any place left to build in NYC?

Have the city buy out or rent storage buildings with hundreds of storage rooms and turn them into separate rooms with beds for the homeless. Provide cooking facilities, bathrooms with showers, security and counciling services in each building. Each building can house hundreds of homeless. Shouldn't be hard to convert the storage rooms to a place for them to live in safety.

Very heartless and tragic. Like was said, we have become desensitized to the homeless. I guess this will be the norm since it seems we will have many more homeless people and families in the street. I trust they will get this murderer off the streets. Just a matter of time, in which we hope no one else is hurt.

The shame of their family's homelessness did not give their family a place to live, and even their backyard or living room would be better on the street. The selfishness and cold heart of their family. Especially their parents or children.
