Israel at War: Drone Strikes Apartment Building in Tel Aviv

Overnight a drone crashed into an apartment building in Tel Aviv, Israel. So far the Yemen based Houthis have claimed responsibility and the drone appears to be a Samad-3 style munition.

The Alarms systems don't detect drones easily at all
It isn't as straight forward as a rocket

hi Preston, according latest info it was Houtis and they sent 4 drones, 3 were intercepted by USAF. no info why/how the 4th drone got thru

This really is kinda suspect. I can't rightly believe all the allies in the region didn't track that all the way from Yemen. That's highly questionable to me

Is it possible that the Houthis launched the drone from a closer point of origin? Like from a boat in the red sea?

There were also rumors in Israel that the missile was not from the Houthis but from Hezbollah
But according to the United States
The Houthis did not shoot only 1 missile but 5 and the United States managed to shoot down 4 and missed the fifth
Which perhaps explains why Israel failed to detect the 5th missile (perhaps they received information from the Americans who thought the threat was over)

A new update about the drone from the IDF they stated it had less explosives inside the drone to reach Tel aviv. Also that the drones path flew above egypt sinai and went up north to avoid detection of the Israel Air Force
