Over the course of the series, WE will follow Mama June as she embarks on a quest of self-discovery that will redefine who she is as a woman, mother, lover and celebrity. Throughout the transformative journey Mama June will find much needed support -- and a little tough love -- from daughters, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Shannon and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, as well as other close family and friends. WE are documenting Mama June’s entire journey, from the moment she learns that her Ex (Sugar Bear) is getting hitched, right up to her shocking reveal in front of the universe. During this extraordinary process, she will undergo not only a series of extensive plastic surgeries, but also intensive workouts with an unlikely trainer, Kenya Crooks, who forces her to change her entire way of thinking. June will battle self-doubt, ongoing temptation to cheat, and a string of hilariously disastrous dates to become the woman she has always wanted to be.

I love how Geno has been there for Alana through some of her toughest times. What a great male roll for her..
I do feel bad for June because Geno continues to tell her that he just isn't ready for marriage but yet, it seems she keeps pushing marriage on him...
A little advice for June be careful you might just push Gino away and that would be sad for Alana

If she were my daughter, we'd be doing yoga and cardio, playing sports, and learning how being active can be fun. I'd teach her how being a child is so short and she's missing out on a lot of opportunities; and I'd do anything in my power to assure that she gets to the point where she is physically, mentally, and spirtually healthy.
I've been watching this family for awhile now and I always see the light in Alana's eyes. She's got a spark. And I can also see how insecure she is, even though she says otherwise, and that will hold her back immensely. I just hope she doesnt become what her mother was, obese and having kids at a young age with child molesters, and farting holes in her "sketti" sauce stained couch.
This poor girl.

This coming from a woman who was definitely on the overweight side my whole childhood/teen years. I wish I could have a do over sometimes.
