Thanks for doing this. Helped to clarify a few of the tricky bits, and also made me feel better about the £2, 214 result for my first game. :)

This reminds me of the choices we have to make in Onirim. :D

I missed a question during the stream about why you deal the tableau before removing companies. The reason is for the mulligan. After you've dealt the tableau and selected the 4 companies you can decide to re-draw the removed companies.

Really helpful, thank you. I think that if no company buys a train in an OR then an additional train gets exported at the end of that OR which would have speeded up the train rush towards the end there as the N&B didn't buy any trains

I think you did the new column in the tableau incorrectly. I believe your supposed to remove a random company BEFORE drawing cards for the new column.

Also, you forgot to burn an extra train at the end of each OR where you DID NOT buy a train (in addition to the 1, 2, or 3 from the turn order tile). This would have further accelerated the train rush.

Is it possible to build or upgrade track and place tokens after formation of the LNER?

Thanks for doing this, really interested in giving it a try myself now.
Can you run port to port in the solo game? I know you can't in the multiplayer, but nobody brought it up in chat that you couldn't. If you can't I think it would have helped quite a bit because you boxed yourself in the northeast early to get a little bit extra revenue, but lost out on what appear to be extremely vital track lays. And I can't remember exactly when it was but at one point the N&B could have laid some track that would have helped the Y&N quite a bit, but the Y&N was forced to do it later.
I kind of wonder if going a little harder with A trains would help, let the rest get exported as well as the B's, and then buy in on C's... Buying so few A's forced you to buy more B's which seems to increase the train rush. I also think trying to get more companies running early to build up the infrastructure will help end game, so that you are actually able to upgrade some of those cities to brown. Having to lay so much new track for the SVR (using its and the N&B's track lays) at the end of the game also seemed to hurt quite a bit.
Thanks again!
