How This Minecraft Mod Infected over 6,000 Accounts - Curseforge Virus

On June 6th, 2023, There was a virus / malware spreading through out the Curseforge modded community. It went on to infected thousands of people in the Minecraft community in a short amount of time. It would steal all kinds of data, including Discord accounts.

I do want to point out that it was only 6000 accounts (Give or take a few). While yes, this never should have happened in the first place, Curseforge gets MILLIONS of downloads a day. The fact that it only infected about 6000 accounts is insane
