Seriously though... Watching Mayweather on the offense is an awesome thing to watch.

I seriously don't know how anyone could've scored the fight for Maidana, yes, it was close...but he didn't win nor did he get robbed. After the 6th round Floyd was making him miss far more and landing more of his own punches. I scored it 115-113 for Floyd, anyone who can say "Maidana won and got robbed" needs to learn how to score a fight.

People who thought Maidana won were probably watching Telemundo.

I like maidana but he was really dirty and sloppy in this fight. Instead of boxing maidana looked like a wrestler or street fighter. I know people like to see mayweather have trouble but this isn't the right way. This is disrespectful.

When Mayweather fights toe to toe, it's a fun fight. When he boxes he outclasses opponents. I wonder what Mayweather would do in a rematch.

Maidana does a boxers version of windmilling, he lowers his head and swings punches from the top

The dust has settled and I've watch the fight once again and you have to tip your hat to floyd? His skill, accuracy, speed and foot work are just impeccable. As for maidana? It's one thing throwing but another thing landing

Showtime boxing clearly dominated the HBO. the only thing i want with HBO is Michael Buffer and Manny Pacquiao

A lot of people sayin he got robbed. Yea he was more aggressive but most of the time Maidana jus put his head down and started windmilling. He was so caught up in tryna knock him out he forgot that u actually have to land punches to score. Mayweather jus out boxed him once he got his legs under him. He landed 54% of his punches. That's hard to beat. I thought Floyd shoulda won by split though.

8-4 Floyd but Maidana had alot of intensity which i love to see in a fighter but i cant fuck with his dirty shots to the nuts, back of the head, arm pulling and that tackle was just bullshit esp when youre way bigger coming into the ring at 165, he fought like he was Kurt Angle in his prime

I saw a lot of clean body shots from maidana was a very close fight I gave maidana the edge because of all those body shots.

Re-watching the Mayweather vs Maidana fight. Very frustrating, like I was the night of the fight. Why did the referee keep breaking them up in a clinch ?

<How to keep the referee from breaking your clinch>
Clinching in a boxing match is never allowed for long, but you can prolong it by looking busy in the clinch. <If one of the boxers has an arm free and is fighting, the referee may not break it up.> This takes a tremendous amount of energy and nullifies the short rest break you are attempting to achieve in the clinch, but if you are facing an opponent that likes to tie you up, then feed it to him. Get one arm free and slam it into his liver and side as he clinches you. Occasionally push back a bit and get a hook into the head. If you want to get illegal about it, the clinch gives you a clear shot of your opponent's kidneys and a rabbit punch or two is always available as well. I don't suggest you resort to illegal tactics, but a warning shot can signal a cinchy opponent to back off.

Why then did the Referee keep breaking them up ? When one of the fighter had a FREE punching hand. Maidana had Mayweather in so many clinches because Mayweather keep trying to cling to Maidana. But the dam referee kept stepping in to <fast> to separate them. Maidana was hurting Mayweather with all those body punches & Mayweather was crying to the refer as always.
Please READ the rules Referee!!!!

The referee kept listening to Mayweather & his crying. Even when the referee didn't see the blow. (Referee can only call what he see NOT what the box cries about) But when Maidana complaint about Mayweather using the elbow, the referee acted deaf & blind.
Maidana <WON> this fight at the very least it should been a draw!!!!

Just look at Mayweather face when they were announcing the winner, He <Clearly> didn't know if he won!! He starts to put his hands up like a winner then put them down. He knows in his heart that he DID NOT WIN!!! Draw maybe BUT NOT A WIN even in his ryes.
But crooked Las Vegas Judges Only the Florida Judge call it like it was.

I keep seeing them advertise this event again.. my only question is do we need to pay for the event? Or is it gonna be free on a channel following the epilogue? That be dumb if we would have to pay for the event again when the fight is all over youtube.. i would appreciate if someone can reply thank you
