this is something I need to know more about, but most rural homes have nothing other than water line, but "progress" is sneaking in. several months ago cable company was digging on main road 10 miles away, hit phone company fiber optic cable, YEAH! the phone company had to do live checks for all lines out, at present only internet is through phone company, but soon will have option from cable company, but thousands of people were without phone, & internet, as well as some businesses. was out 1 1/2 weeks. I wonder how expensive of a mistake that was?

All drains need maintenance, some channels say you don’t need to maintain. How often do you all recommend?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it didn’t seem like the water came out as fast as you put it in with a 5 gallon bucket? Almost like there’s not enough fall on the drain.
