Cj2A Turn signal switch install

If you drive your Jeep in traffic you know how dangerous it can be out there. Most people look at you like you're crazy. You're using basic hand signals but they think you're throwing gang signs. haha!
Time to update your rig and add a little safety and convenience. With the help of @KaiserWillysJeep Im going to add a new turn signal switch, flasher and supporting parts to my old cj3a.

Make sure your know if you have a 6 or 12 volt system before you order your flasher. Please use proper PPE while working on your Jeep. Agree with Calihoon. Was hand signalling for left hand turn on a small back road. On-coming traffic slammed on the brakes and almost caused a chain reaction crash. Scared the hot mess out of me (and others too I'm sure).

Lots of ''drivers'' today don't even know what hand signals mean. That makes sense, I guess, Because lots of today's ''drivers'' Don't know what the flashing, electric turn signals mean. I've had people try to pass on my left, while I was turning left onto a sideroad, or driveway at least a half-dozen times in the last couple years alone. I was pulling trailers a couple of times. Ran a couple of them off of the road, that looked
expensive.

Well now that I have the suspension and disk brakes done, I am now consuming everything I can on wiring the project. Your videos are so calm and helpful! Buy a switch with 8 wires, the purple will be a dedicated ground, you don't have to do the grinding for ground . this is going to give you trouble Down the road. Just a tip
