Tax plays a very important for anyone, especially for traders and investors who’s source of income is the volatile stock market. As the act of trading, that is, the point of buy and sell can vary drastically, there are many ambiguities in terms of tax implications. For example a cash market long term investor’s tax implications will be very different from someone who is an aggressive derivatives market trader. To understand all these nitty gritty, I interacted with one of our Mentorship Trader, Mr. Anil from Hyderabad, who is a Chartered Accountant and currently working as a senior manager with Delloite, Hyderabad. I am grateful and glad that he accepted my proposal and decided to do this interaction with me wherein other Mentorship Traders too joined in and pitched their doubts and queries. I hope you will find this interaction useful. Please feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions. Take Care and stay safe.

Excellent info. But as assured in the beginning, you didn't provide the details of literature for further knowledge and reference.

In futures & options many are doing intraday trades also. So they are considered as speculative income or a business income? I hope you understand the question!
