Even though I could see this twist coming, it still broke my heart to see Danny have the realization. Tom did a phenomenal job in this role.

So does this mean the mother should be arrested for lying under oath? Also this confirms that Marlin sexually assaulted the boy, but the series doesn't show his fate

I still can't believe that Tom hasn't won or been nominated for any awards for this role. It's a performance that deserved a Golden Globe or something similar.

Amanda's crying update is sublime, without a doubt one of the best.

I cried so hard at that scene. I cried at the end of episode 6, half of episode 9 and a bit during episode 10. I knew the show eventually will be tough to watch, but i did not expect it to actually break my heart. In the best way. It's such a shame and absurdity that people made fun of Tom for acting certain scenes and critics swiping this masterpiece under the rug. Yeah, it's a bit confusing in the first half, but it's a necessary setup, for us to see Danny's perspective of his life, so then eventually we'll get to see the whole situation piece by piece. It's not slow-paced, it's perfect. I wanted to watch just a few episodes and continue some time later at first, but i couldn't stop. Amanda'a acting, TOM'S ACTING is so impeccable. Those transitions from alters to Danny and back. Especially i adore how during the questioning in the trial Jack is imitating American accent, but as he gets disturbed and axious over Danny's behavior, you can hear his English accent slipping in, just a tiny bit. His way of speaking, adding a lot of high words to the sentences. Like when he says "fruitless" or "i will do no such thing". And the reaction of the audince in court, because they get to see that the boy they've seen before is not the boy speaking at the moment. It's really beautiful. And if it broke me that badly so i can't stop thinking about the show, i am literally not feeling myself after the finale, i'm scared to even imagine what was Tom going through. So yeah, that's cruel and ungrateful from people to react that way to the huge work he's done, all of the crew done. That's not fair. It pains me to know Tom lived trough this show, the mindset of Danny, the circumstances of his life, the horror of it, went to all the dark places he had to just for people to dismiss him like that.
Tom IS Peter Parker/Spider-man, but also he's just Tom. And being so close-minded to not be able to accept the fact the he can and will play those difficult dramatic roles is just ridiculous. I guess you really have to see Tom as a human and actor to really appreciate his acting skills, not just Peter Parker.
