Reminder: If the Packers beat the Vikings, a Lions' victory on Monday clinches the 1 seed. The complaint here is what, that DC will have his guys prepared to play that game (which also happens to be a rematch of the NFC Championship game the Lions lost) with no expectation of an off week (which is the assumption that the Vikings win)? We really do waste a lot of tape and column inches on this stuff...

Apparently, the mentality Florio wants heading into this scenario is broadcasting to the players that they MIGHT have a day off. Any kid who has ever gone to bed expecting a snow-day only to not get it should understand what that would do to the team's psyche. Worst case, the Vikings win, and DC has the option to limit snaps. Best case, the Packers win, and DC has the guys ready to clinch the #1 seed.
