Money is a symbol that represents value. And we use value created by others to care for our needs. Therefore we need to produce an equivalent amount of value for others. Money is then a receipt or ticket, a proof of value created that entitled us to value others have created.

I think the title is a little misleading cause you're describing the boom bust cycles of modern capitalism fueled by credit creation. This is just one type among many types of economies. A type that ends with massive state debt, huge inequality and what matters the most, with the inability to "go to Mars" in the sense of building anything on a large scale and speed... see infrastructures, energy transition, space programs.. i'm hinting at a new video discussing the future capitalism 😉👻
