Are you ready to get baptized?

So you’re thinking about baptism in the Christian faith. That’s great! But be sure you can answer these three basic questions.

Thank you for this. I want to get baptized this fall with my newborn daughter who is my first child. I grew up in church but didn’t really meet the true living God until I turned 18. I’ve been waking with him ever since, but things hasn’t been easy. Just recently due to my pregnancy I’ve overcome my drug addiction for good through Gods help of course and even though I got saved at 18 I now feel like here at 20 that I am actually ready to get baptized and take that next step. ❤️

I’m 16 and considering to get baptized because God has been evident in my life and if I follow Jesus I wanna go all the way but I’ve had all sorts of people tell me I need the gift of tongues or to be 18 but I believe I am ready and I don’t care what others think it is my choice and if I felt like God put it on my heart to do so I will do it and can nobody convince me otherwise. Although I do wanna confirm that I am rightfully desiring it and am checking in with myself and where I stand for you can never be too sure. My first baptism class is coming up, wish me luck!
