Part 3 of movies are a lot of times disasapointing. Example; Child`s Play 3, RoboCop 3, Ninja Turtles 3 etc... I hope they don`t mess DP3 up.

Nope!!! They did a fan service in Deadpool 2 by making the suit grey (due to the blast se suffered during battle)
So this might be continuity of that as his suit was destroyed and burnt turning it to damaged grey during the climax battle
