Mazda Miata K Swap Overview

This is a project we completed in the shop recently, A K-Miata or in other words, a Miata with a Honda "K" series engine installed. Most of the components were purchased from K Power Industries. This example is a 1999 Mazda Miata and the engine came from a 2014 Acura TSX (fancy honda accord basically) does anyone even read these descriptions anyway? Love the idea of a k swap but would rather keep the standard hydraulic power steering. Do you think a dry sump kit would help solve a lot of the clearance problems from this kit?

Excellent overview of the swap, appreciate the underbody view of how the exhaust routes. I'm guessing to remove the header, it requires being slipped off under the car. Also are there any concerns with the oil pan being the lowest part of the car and scraping speed bumps etc? A modified cover of some sort would be good.

Why didn’t you swap a k24a2? Such a better engine and way more potential and horsepower
