I like that he now mentions numbers of photos he liked from his roll. It often looks like that photography youtubers only take banger shots. Thanks Jason

in todays economy watching these videos is my preferred way of shooting film

No joke, I’m the guy who was standing next to Jason at the beers and cameras event who won the roll of 120 Aerochrome. My bruises are still healing.

I really like how you categorized your photos into keepers and portfolio shots. I’ve had a hard time figuring out what photos to do with all my random photos and I think I will take this opportunity to start a portfolio of my favorite shots!

Seeing a new Grainydays video in my sub box is like finding a nice camera at a thrift store for $5.

Damn. Really enjoyed the keepers segment of each roll very cool to see them all together like that.

6:01- 6:21 - that's my block! That's where I've lived, as a photographer for 5 years - you made it look lovely. Also you're absolutely right, Blank Street Coffee is PURE AESTHETIC, because it...is. It's owners raised $40m in venture capital funding to build a massive coffee chain, by cos-playing an indy coffee shop.

Love that you said how Edward Hopper is kind of your guy while seated in front of a framed Lion King poster, which is his most under appreciated work.

Outside of the photos. The cinematography in this video was spectacular

the thing with xp2 is that you can overexpose it, and the grain really smooths out. when you underexpose it or have lots of shadow in the frame, it'll get grainy and crunchy. i'll rate it anywhere from 100 to 800 iso on a single roll depending on the situation and how i feel. it's fun like that

One of my favourite episodes. As others have said, the keepers/portfolio sections really anchored it. Top tier!

Always love your videos and most especially your sense of humour, always waiting for the next one. Also your taste in artists, love Hopper. Thanks for sharing.

That double exposed red scale photo actually looks amazing. Also overall I think I actually liked the lomo apparat shots best

Great video, I love seeing you shoot New York, especially because you added people to your compositions. My favorite photo in the video is at 19:43.

That Edward Hopper exhibition was magnificent. Went to NY for my 50th in February and stumbled on that after a walk along the high line, during which I'd also taken my favourite photo from the trip. Great day. Back to Hopper, a masterclass in observation, framing, composure and colour ( yeah with a U).

I've had an Agfa Optima (the electronic one with a built in flash) on my shelf for at least 15 years, and just loved the way it looks. I've never even investigated if it even works until today, after seeing this video. I cleaned it, tossed in a couple of batteries, and now I'm ready to test it out! Thanks for the inspiration.

I really like when you show the overview of the roll and how many you like and the portfolio pics. Keep it up Jason

I'm such a sucker for the 4:3 aspect ratio, especially when Snyder did it for his Justice League. Keep up the great vids/vlogs!
