Perfect timing, I was wondering about how I can improve my search without exposing too much PII

You're the only person that covered this topic so far after searching YouTube. Another concern is how to find out how closely a company monitors you on and off the job BEFORE you're hired. Asking too directly can sound threatening to an employer or that you have ulterior motives on the job, at the same time you want to avoid places that micromanage their employees.

I really hate that companies have started listing their employees names, faces, and bios on their websites. Idk what's even the point of that.

Fingers crossed I'll land a job at a company I otherwise really like in the next few weeks but I'm dreading the prospect of having to put my info out there like that. I don't want to make up some elaborate justification so I hope they just accept an "I'd rather not."

I'm going to be an accountant but I'm just 17 and I think it's compulsory to register to some institutions and keeping the fact aside that privacy concerns will only rise when I grow up. I don't think there's hope. Even my school uses Google and I do not have any option

Would you be willing to do a video on how to look for various types of insurance such as car insurance in a private manner? It drives me crazy that it seems you have to tell companies every little detail about yourself to even get a quote.

This is hard, I know LinkedIn and other job boards would allow you to throw a wider net in your job search, so not sure how to go ahead with this. Thank you for the video.

Why include a real residential address rather than a rough area in the resume before even having an interview? Shouldn't that change?

If you’re worried about Zoom or some other company’s video chat software spying on you, buy a REALLY crappy camera and microphone for your laptop. Sure, your coworkers and bosses can still make you out, but barely, and so will these other companies. Also, you can isolate Zoom in a virtual machine for additional protection from having Zoom run all Willy nilly on your host operating system. Take it one step further and combine the two, and configure your virtualization software to only pass your crappy webcam and microphone so that Zoom won’t be able to try to switch inputs on you, exposing you in high definition. This is what I plan to do when I go to get my next job.

This is why you should only apply to local businesses or work blue collar-type jobs if you value your privacy. A corporate job is never going to respect your privacy. I feel like this video is mostly centered towards finding an office-type job that requires you to have all these unneeded accounts or emails.
