Why is the measurement in inch's?

Need to make it clear that the panel should sit proud of the front of the trim by 18mm so the front is flush with the fronts of the doors. Only worked this out by getting it wrong.

Interesting to see the measurements given here are in inches and their fractions! Strange that all units supplied and in brochure are given in metric.
