Welcome to my reference series on 74HCxx chips! This one is about the quad, 2-input NOR chip, the 74HC02!

All tests are performed at 5v and here are links to the parts you will need to build your own!

I've used hex inverters quite a lot for various computer projects. So useful.

A nice simple Not Gate Example.
The only recommendation I could make to improve it is to add the inverter/Not gate symbol to the silkscreen.

I could have used one (well, many) when I mistakenly bought low level SSR boards for my Christmas Light Show box. I had to rewrite my entire code.

Excellent presentation, I just pulled one from a broken tape deck. 74HC04AP, what does the AP do? Got my data sheet printed and breadboard ready.
