Harry Styles Admits He CRIED While Watching Himself In Dunkirk
Показать описание
Harry Styles went on quite the emotional roller coaster ride as he admitted to crying during the premiere of Dunkirk, and was even put to the test to see what gets his heart rate going.
He may be a man of few words, but it’s safe to say Harry lets his emotions do all the talking.
He may be taking on a brand new role as a dramatic actor in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming war movie Dunkirk, but no emotional film would prepare Harry Styles for what would soon follow during his appearance on BBC Radio. Morning show host Nick Grimshaw put Harry and his emotions to the test during a heart monitor challenge, where he was hooked up to an actual heartrate monitor to see which photos would get his heart racing the most. Take a look:
But when Harry was asked about Ryan Gosling from “THAT” scene in The Notebook, he was literally ALL of us when the monitor showed his heartrate practically shooting through the roof...
Harry was then asked about his old bandmate Zayn Malik to which his heartrate didn’t even budge, but he managed to throw out a few compliments…
He even admitted that all his former 1D boys got in touch with him to congratulate him for his first-ever movie role, but speaking of Dunkirk, Harry even admitted to crying while watching the film for the first time. He said QUOTE, “I hadn't seen anything and how he'd put the story together, so I was more watching to see how the story was, and when I watched it at the premiere in London it got me a couple of times. There were a couple of emotional bits but I didn't know if I was allowed to cry at a film I'm in, but yeah it was really emotional.”
He also revealed that it was a very personal experience for him, even if you’re watching it in a theater full of people. He added that, “I think it's just really human and I don't really see it as a typical war film because they're always about being the hero and running and saving the day and how it affects everyone and it's like the civilians who are saving everyone.”
Harry also revealed that he did feel slightly "uncomfortable" watching himself on the big screen, but during an appearance on Capital FM, Harry was weary about continuing an acting career, however when asked if he’d consider playing Lara Croft in a new ‘Tomb Raider’ film, he seemed much more excited about the idea, saying, “Yes I will!”
So maybe there was a hint of sarcasm there, but any Harry Styles is better than none, so we’ll take it. But in the meantime, you can go see Dunkirk in theaters now, so that being said, I’m curious to know your thoughts on Harry’s role in the film, and did you guys tear up too?
