Mayor Ted Wheeler not seeking third term, only one known candidate so far

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler has announced he won’t seek a third term as mayor.

Thank god, there might be an escape route from the hellscape he’s created. New city council, new mayor, new DA and police chief. Get rid of them all and get some folks with more conservative American values, or it’s over.

At the time I moved from Portland Bud Clark was the Mayor and Portland was truly a progressive and relatively safe place to live. From the looks of it I wouuldn't even recognize the city now. What a shame...
