I was 20+ y/o when MLK made me cry! I thought I knew MLK until a doc connected past, present, & future. & when I heard "I have seen the promise land, I may not get there w\ u" a speech I've heard clips of my whole life. But never in context of his whole life, the reasons y, & his ripple effect on the world.. & to have fought to get the U.S. to simply be what they claim to be. A free country where all men are created equal. Taking a brutal beating so the ppl at home who don't know what it really is Like, who hated HIM for causing trouble. Like every year it was just another day, until I saw all the threads connected & the fabric of our society embroiled within. this man was being black mailed by the CIA and didn't back down.. I'm so sorry for the ignorance atrocities & misconceptions made by myself or anyone. I thought we were all equally scum in the eyes of the 1%. Thanks for those who protested & informed my perspective with facts.. when a cop walks after killing a man w/ his kid in the car because he was scared. Scared that a black guy just told him he had a permit to carry. Scared he had a holstered gun. Live on Facebook. Murdered in front of his son... Because a cop got scared(he's doing everything he's suppose to & still the cop doesn't believe his eyes & ears. Disregarding facts in favor of what he believes to be true. With nothing informing his actions but his own racist options. I'm so fucking sorry. Truly. Hopefully we'll all see that everyone just wants the best for their families & we can unite off of that. Trump & Obama were elected by the people to bring change, we live in laws created by people whose idea of plumbing was a bed pan & outhouse. Everyone knows the government is not by, of, & for the ppl. Its 4 profit now.
