Not much of a space marine player let alone ultra marine player myself, but i got to respect the guy who knows its more important he remains in the scouts as a leader to train future generation with everything hes learned over hundreds of years vs the personal glory of higher ranks. He knows that the more the learn while still being scouts, the better chance they will survive and become veterans for the chapter and all of humanity.
