I use it personally on my ash prime because of the Batman fashion frame I made, and hikou prime is a great weapon to have a batarang type of weapon

Concealed Explosives (and Thunderbolt or Combustion Beam) damage can be scaled of bane mods, infusion ability augments (Venom Dose) and abilities (like Volt shields or Toxin Lash) and Rhino roar. There are some meme builds with very high str Saryn that uses Concealed explosions to ramp up toxin damage on crowds then to one shot them with helminthed Expedite Suffering. Don't do this though even if it scales enough to carry in Steel Path.

I have a riven for these that adds multishot and subtracts accuracy, making them an incredible carpet bombing status machine

Given the riven disposition these can actually hit harder than Narwhal(spira) Primes, and the fire rate is fast enough to support cascadia flare, with or without a sentinel using a beam weapon.

Actually this is one of the few permanent primes available in Railjack. Along with Cernos Prime and Venka Prime.

if it still scales with operatives (I don't remember), you can make a ridiculously overpowered bio turret with concex if you give it to them. the lightning quick reload makes for endless stream of potent explosives in the hands of those otherwise infuriatingly obstinate bastards

For a MR4 prime weapon, it’s pretty decent, though outdated as hell.

Why not build it into corrosive heat to boost the puncture damage?

That's a very basic starter build, though if you push it, then you can scale it quite a bit higher
