Bruce knew Kal wouldn't just kill him outright. Nobody pays attention to Kal's quote, *_'If I wanted it, you'd be dead already, '_* which is true, he could've easily speed-blitzed him. But Kal lost the fight because of his _kindness_ and because Batfleck had a lot of _plot armor._
