“Halo’s Spirit.” you can say that again. it’s really enlightening seeing youtubers make Helldivers clips with ODST/Reach music playing over it all over the place. but like you said, it is also frustrating that the actual Halo series doesn’t get enough innovation. would’ve loved to play as an ODST again in first person taking on drop missions like in Helldivers, but in the universe of Halo lore

Helldivers 2 does what games should do, be fun and easy to get into the game. The microtransactions are tiny and you can earn currency in the game.

There is no drama? Halo isn't comparable to Helldivers. When the original came out, I said that it's bascially an ODST game with how it LOOKS. And the concept of Helldivers, but the gameplay is NOWHERE near close to Halo at all. It looks more like a Starshiptroopers game than a Halo game.

we need a "helljumpers" warbond. put the game on xbox, and make the season all about a halo crossover. odst armour, unsc weapons, warthogs. would be so cool

I had an ODST mod for Fallout 4 and it was so much better than any halo game recently. You could customize your armor, put your name on it, and the coolest feature was having halo weapons that you could CUSTOMIZE. You could slap a suppressor, flashlight, laser or different sights on different halo weapons. Even modify the damage so you could just make a hand cannon.

All that along with other mods to create a gritty or scary game with other ODST followers was amazing.

I haven't played it yet, but the Helldivers devs are ultra based from what I've heard. Nothing but huge respect for them as an "xbot" :)

For me, there is one problem with Helldivers 2 and that is that there is no solo campaign.
