Controls for the sample based generator:

* direction: Playback direction, one of forward, reverse, reverse once or alternate.
* variation: If there are multiple samples per note, controls sample selection.
* random: Random sample is selected.
* round-robin: Samples are selected in sequential order.
* always-first: First sample is always used.
* arp-index: Sample selected is based on arp pattern position.
* vol: Oscillator volume.
* pan: Oscillator pan.
* 1up: Duplicates the oscillator 1 octave up with adjustable volume.
* trs: Transpose oscillator +/- 48 semitones.
* det: Detune oscillator +/- 100 cents.
* ktrk: Oscillator key tracking +/- 100%.
* rnd: Add randomness to oscillator pitch.
* drv: An overdrive effect applied to the audio signal.
* asym: A special overdrive effect where the positive audio signal is saturated in a different way than the negative audio signal.

* fold: A wave-folding effect that mirrors the audio signal back onto itself if it exceeds the threshold.

* dly: Delay in milliseconds before the oscillator starts.
* Shift allows samples from other keys to be used to increase variation between repeated notes.
* ofs: Offset: sample from adjacent note is used, controlled by val.
* rnd: Random: sample from from random adjacent note is used from -val to +val.
* inc: Round robin: sample from from adjacent note is used in round robin order from -val to +val.
