Remark: Watch as this beauty, the cj2 taxies and takes off on a sunny thursday afternoon at augsburg airport. The citation was using just 800m/2600ft of the 1400m/4593ft runway at edma. Take a close look at the aircraft as she taxies close to the the camera.

Yes that's right. It's flap which decreases the speed when landing.

I don't think it's a reverser as much as just a deflector. Any amount of thrust removed from the engines is of help when landing and needing to stop.

I think it's the reverse of the aircraft ! ;)
