BT Smart Hub 2 Unboxing Setup

That hub 5 has never failed it's also nicer to look at the new ones are extremely plasticy and will show all the dust like a magnet will drive me nuts ...so I'm about to get an upgrade so god help me I begged for an upgrade as my bb had been down over Xmas etc a new hub was also recommended by engineer! But I still had to grovel for it...

Should it be a full blue circle when its all done ? Mine is the same as yours just showing blue at top and bottom ! Is this ok ?

Thank you for the upload. 👍 and what a wonderful grandson you are, your grandparents are very lucky to have you sort every out for them ❤ I have a dilemma I've moved house, so unfortunately I don't have my old ee plugs and wires so I'm a little confused, It took me ages m9ving boxes etc just to find the telephone socket ( that reminds me, you had an item that plugs into the phone socket, I didn't have 1 of them in the box but got a smart hub1? Something to do with smart calls ? Anyway I'm going back to it and see if I can work it out . Thanks again

I get the purple flashing on router what is this? do I need to put an Ethernet cable in the back?

Hey what happens if the light glows purple and orange would that mean something damaged inside I plugged everything in like u said and thanks for the help well appreciated 👍
