Freeze Dried Pork & Onions - Rehydrating

Показать описание
Rehydrating some pork & onions freeze dried almost 3 years before.
This is part of our Freeze Drying The Alphabet from A to Z series.
It tasted just like before it was freeze dried. Give the rehydrating plenty of time. The texture was much better (more like fresh) after being left in the refrigerator overnight.

We have the medium freeze dryer with the original vacuum pump.

My local butcher is making breakfast pork loin pieces - think and the best part of the pork. I f.d. them and may try some with your suggestion for rehydrating. I know I push things too fast many times when rehydrating. TY for the information - looks really good.

I find most meat needs to rehydrate all day or overnight. Using broth or beer etc also adds more flavor instead of using H2O as the rehydration solution.
Yes, would love to see your freeze dried list. I keep a list too. Your voice over vids are better. You're way too quiet and often difficult to hear.
I always enjoy seeing you try out whatever you have dried.
Camping and long term food storage is a game changer with a freeze dryer.

What size bag do you find you use the most? I’d like to pack single meals, family of 4 meals, single snacks and family snacks
