Santuario (Paco Peña) - Mirza Redzepagic

In this video I am playing Santuario (Soleares) composed by Paco Peña. This piece is considered as one of the classics of the flamenco repertoire and I choose it to be the first of the series of videos that I am going to post as hommage to the old flamenco masters.

Performing the repertoire of an old maestros is very important in life of every flamenco guitarist, and I've approached to this repertoire with great respect but yet with creative urge to add a bit of a personal touch to it, with no intention to disrespect the work of the composer, of course!

* I am dedicating this performance to my very friend Vanessa Ruiz Torres who taught me a lot about art of flamenco.

The sound is recorded live with DPA 4099 microphone.
