John Travolta's home is not unusual for its location given that it is in a development called Jumbolair Aviation Estates just north of Ocala, Florida, which was designed specifically for fly-in homes and where every home has runway access. The facilities described here are for the entire community, not just Travolta's home, and will accommodate aircraft larger than Travolta's 707.

Gosh at 68 year's old me and a 9 year old little boy live in a one bedroom apartment that is Less than 900 square feet. These places look like castle's to me and this little boy. Dang I can't begin to imagine having that much space !

Penn Gillette demolished his own house when it was sold to developers, I live in Vegas and have delivered plant and sprinklers to neighbors. He didn’t want his place or ideas to be used for anything after he vacated. Very smart man.

So it was a lot of beautiful homes and a lot of beautiful property. Most of it what wouldn’t be comfortable living in because it’s just too big I guess I’ve lived in small spaces all my life. Our celebrity’s give a lot of money, our tech people give money, our lottery winners (tax) give money. Where is this going???? The CEOs of the The poor are not receiving your money! So stop with your corporate charity and go out on the street and do some good! Go to the grocery store and give that clerk a grand, give that waiter a grand, give that valet, that maid, that butler, that student what you would spend on a bag you will only carry once! Come on rich folk! Do better!

Celebrities become so famous they can't leave their house. They can't go shopping at a store or go see a movie. It makes sense that they want lavish homes. If I could leave my house I would want it to be cool too.
