To the average ear, the difference doesn’t matter. But that extra bit of detail is the difference between somebody liking it and everybody loving it. Same thing with a good mix vs a bad mix. That last 10% is the key

Quick question: Did you go straight into an interface, or did you run through your vocal chain? That would be totally fair but might explain the insanely high quality. Plus, I’m pretty sure mic diaphragms are manufactured way more precisely today—even in some remote factory in Northeast China—than they were 60 years ago. Honestly, I think people underestimate just how much better today’s tech components are overall.

The consistency of the TLM is much better, a lot more prominent with picking up every detail in the voice & examining it while tracking.

Catchy tune man! Just shows that if you can get a decent enough signal and understand how to manipulate frequencies, you can damn near make any mic sound usable.

after reading and listening to a lot of mic comparisons i came to the conclusion that the most important thing about mics is if they're noisy or distort, that's what make a mic sound awful when we compress a vocal by 30db and then add those 30bd again which is way more common than you think, the sound is just an EQ curve with will definitely get EQd again in the mix then again in the master, then again in the listener's system, don't worry about price just read reviews and listen to them before buying something for the name

That cheap temu mic doesnt sound that bad. For 30 dollars its probably one of the best musical values out there. That being said its not a u87. Great beginner mic

There will be a difference in durability even if it was a 1 on 1 copy ( who it isn't ) ... there are 50, 60, 70 years old neumann still out there and still working ...
