BEST & WORST Trader Joe's CHINESE DIM SUM Taste Test! Soup Dumplings, Cha Siu Bao

We were browsing our local Trader Joe's and we came across some dumplings at Trader Joes'! We got some soup dumplings, kung pao chicken mochi balls, cha siu bao, siu mai and wanted to share with you our experiences. What was actually worth buying again? For frozen foods, we were surprised, but there was some actual hidden gems here!

Here's the grocery list we had:
Kung Pao Chicken Mochi Balls (Spicy chicken in a crisp, chewy mochi rice wrapper)
Chicken Shu Mai (chicken & vegetable dumplings with tangy soy sauce packet)
Pork Shu Mai (Pork dumplings)
Steamed Pork & Ginger Soup Dumplings Filled with a Rich & Savory Broth
Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings Filled with a Rich & Savory Broth
Cha Siu Bao (Chinese Style Pork Buns)

In Australia we call dim sum, Yum Cha. Translated as 'drink tea'. Shrug, don't know why we had to change it and not call it dim sum like the rest of the world haha

I can’t try dim sum out of a box although I heard that a lot of dim sum in restaurants come frozen in North America; idk if that’s true tho !
