I watched a special on the new sticks and their WHIP effects and I noticed on 2 or 3 goals you really can see how it just eats most goalies' eye contact just unbelievable to me. I used a wooden Sherwood and CCm for years you couldn't bend that wood as these pros do..Great action good tending just an awesome game Leafs way to go. BRAVO Domi nice legs son.

I'm a huge fan of Toronto. Love their speed, offensive sets, etc. but avg and below avg teams are still beating us in puck battle percentages. What does this say about the top teams? This really has to be addressed. Small improvements can go a long way. As well as better stick handling skills to trick/ get better possession and shot set up scenarios.

A line with Matthews and Nylander is unplayable. You cant have two players only glide and not skate in their own zone. Every time the puck was in their zone it looked like a PP for the Habs.

Put Beniot back in the lineup!! Also Keep Knives on the 3 line with McMann and Kampf !! They looked great.

Once the Habs didn't score on their PP early in the game, you could see they were going to lose this game. They played a good physical game which Toronto had to re-adjust to. Reaves needed more ice time and that would have addressed the Habs strategy.
