There are many many coincidences.

The finals Argentina lost, they did it playing with the back up T-shirt (all blue) and the three they won they played them with the blue-white oficial one, and they beated the last Champion of the last world cup.

Also, the referee of 2022 final, Symon Marciniack, was born in the same date of the year that the referee of the referee of the 1986 final, Romuald Arppi Filho. Both of them were born om February 7th.

Also, 1978, 1986 and 2022 were the only three editions of the World Cup were Canada classified, but Nigeria did not.

Another one... Belgrano of Córdoba, an argentinian, won the national championship in two ocassions, 1986 and, yep, 2022.
