Russia Panic! France Delivers More Armored Vehicles to Ukraine
Security and defense writer Elisabeth Gosselin-Malo claims that a batch of Bastion armored vehicles built by Arquus could be delivered to Ukraine. Elisabeth tweeted, "Corporate executives indicate conversations on this have been going on for a while, but nothing definite (24 in stock)."
Arquus Defense will give Ukraine 20 Bastion armored vehicles, according to previous French media reports. According to La Tribune, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon receive these vehicles.
The Bastion is a modular line of 12-ton armored vehicles, claims the firm. Its chassis, which was built on the VLRA 44 platform, combines tactical performance with ruggedness and easier maintenance.
