The Next Generation Internet (NGI) is a European initiative that aims
to create an internet that respects human and societal values, such as
privacy, participation, and diversity. How can it achieve this? By
enabling new online technologies that can support real human needs and
address global sustainability challenges. This will support the
development of technologies promoting the NGI ideals with financial
grants and technical support by the European Commission and its
partners, over the next few years.
As a participating partner of the NGI initiative, the FSFE helps
developers understand and apply Free Software licensing through REUSE;
our project to help developers adopt best practices for expressing
license and copyright information in their Free Software projects. This
talk helps you learn more about the FSFE's role in the NGI initiative,
and how you can get financial and technical assistance for your software
project through this initiative.
