Semi-hollowbody enthusiasts of the Wildwoodiverse, we have a delectable treat for you! The Wildwood team is proud to introduce the 2019 ES-335 Figured from our friends at Gibson Memphis. These Electric Spanish sweethearts are stellar examples of the soulful guitars coming out of Memphis these days! As their name implies, they have gorgeous AAA figured maple tops, but the wood on the inside is what gives them supercharged tone! Thermally engineered Adirondack spruce bracing gives these guitars an articulate, percussive attack and oodles of headroom, meaning that they will maintain incredible clarity.

Meanwhile, a thermally engineered maple center block adds a bit of vintage woodiness and clarity to the sustain! Add in a pair of Memphis Historic Spec humbuckers, and you've got quite a sonic cocktail! Based on the powerful PAFS of yore, these beautiful 'buckers give you the kind of raspy midrange, sweet high end, and warm bass that semi-hollow dreams are made of.

They feel great in your hands, too, thanks to the inviting rounded "C" neck profile, and they've been outfitted with a variety of finishes that highlight the beauty of their figured maple tops. A few small touches like Grover "Milk Bottle" Rotomatic tuners, dark rosewood fretboards, and pearloid block inlays complete the aesthetic, making these ES-335s as easy on the eyes as they are on the ears!

We are proud to showcase instruments of such exceptional quality and beauty, and we know they will bring you endless hours of inspiration.

Whenever I have a sleepless night I always come to listen Mr. Greg Koch play. It soothes me. It inspires me. Then I diverge my mind of my worries and with his licks in my ear I enter the world of dreams.

Thanks for the great jam...and teaching me to clean up my sloppy no style playing.

The pickguards on the newer Gibson ES-335 guitars seem to have this weird chiseled gloss. Anyone know if that is the material the pickguard is made of or simply the removable protector membrane?

It's a 2018 not a 2019. 1st and 5th digits "18" indicate the year. 184 in between is the day of the year, in this case it translates to July 3, 2018.

What this guitar offers with all competetions cames arround, it is just overpriced!
