I mean... 9300 and 8G3 are 2 nodes behind (also 1 year old), and nearly match multi core performance.. And IPC wise in single core they're not that far behind, A18 has only 20% higher IPC, when normalized to same frequency.
Can't wait to see how 8G4 with custom core design and new node performs...

u know that geekbench is one of the worst presentation in real world performance right?

Both dimensity 9400 and 8 gen 4 better than A18 pro.
Peak performance of :
A18 pro : 3450/8750
Dimensity 9400 : 3010/9150
8 gen 4 : 3225/10051

But a18 pro will again be the champion of scores at very low wattages. Bcz, its efficiency cores are really really efficient.

On geekbench 6 :
A18 pro scores 4150 @ 2.5w.
And it will be hard for both dimensity 9400 and 8 gen 4 to even touch 4000 @ 2.5w. maybe 3nm will help them. But again it aint going to surpass a18 pro's scores at those low wattages.
