One of the most popular thing to do in Iceland is to visit the Golden Circle located close to the capital city Reykjavik. And one of the most popular thing to do in the Golden Circle is to go snorkelling or diving in Silfra in the Thingvellir National Park. This is one of the most unique place in the whole world, an underwater canyon formed between the North American and Eurasian plates. The glacier water filling this canyon is some of the clearest on the planet giving you some incredible views.
We also visited an impressive Geysir located in Geyser. This natural formation is free to visit and worth the detour.
For the night, we decided to sleep at Aurora Igloo in the city of Hella also located within the Golden Circle of Iceland. These transparent bubbles are ideal to enjoy the northern lights.
